Having a close personal friend pass away, I am well aware of how the organ donor people are pretty much like vultures, waiting for the doctor to pronounce as they are under a time crunch for the prime organs. It is however, a serious problem as this story is not that uncommon, quite possibly the only reason this hits the news is because it happened to be a so called 'drug overdose' case.
