Dear Producer,
Tomorrow your No Agenda Show will be celebrating George Washington’s birthday now know mostly as Presidents Day. This once solemn day is celebrated by universal discount sales by department stores as well as car dealerships sell-a-thons. George Washington would be proud. How about we do the same and offer you an executive producership for the birthday SALE price of $218 commemorating Washington’s birthday. This offer ends midnight on 2-19-19. Boost your prestige with a valuable executive producer credit on your bio. Click here.

And you can always contribute whatever you want to help support the show byclicking here.

"What do I have to do to get some respect?"
Generally speaking, these holiday three-day-weekends result in lackluster interest in the show and current events because people are hanging out with family and friends. It’s always a good time for the government to pull a fast one too.

President’s Day is an unusual Federal Holiday because a good number of States refuse to celebrate it. The reasons vary from state to state but these states are: Florida, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. This is an odd mix for sure. Interestingly Martin Luther King Day is celebrated by all the states and nobody discusses this anomaly. Washington seems to be relegated to old white guy status. You can speak up about this fact and face condemnation.

An argument could be made that July 4th Celebrations would naturally include a tribute to Washington, so there is that.
gold note
What seems more insulting is the fact that what was once celebrated as Washington’s birthday is now mostly celebrated as Presidents Day. This was to combine Lincoln, Jefferson and Washington into something more universal and to prevent any other Presidents from getting too much attention. Let's see a poll of today’s fifth graders asking them who Washington was. You can bet money that half of them have no clue.

The only states that still call Presidents Day Washington’s Birthday are Virginia, South Carolina, Utah, North Dakota, New York, Massachusetts, Missouri, Mississippi, Maine, Indiana, Georgia, DC, Connecticut, Alabama, Arkansas, and Arizona. That’s only 15 states and DC. Arizona calls the Day Lincoln/Washington/Presidents Day. Many combine Lincoln in the holiday.

You can look at this from a number of perspectives, noting that the holiday will probably be dropped completely as it already is in those nine states listed at the top. This is part of an effort by America’s corrupt educators to cast American history in a negative light focusing on “incidents” and generalizing entire historical narratives based on that. (See any Howard Zinn book). This is generally how left-leaning propagandists work as they promote collectivism as the only true good to which we should aspire. It’s mostly farcical when observed objectively.
