What was the point of constant teasing over the release of these videos in this manner? It was a “Let’s get ready to riot” countdown and it was not local to Memphis, it was worldwide. It seemed coordinated. And was silly at one level because a lot of the best footage was not from the body cams but from some street cams looking down on the scene. Are these cams owned by the police or the city? If they were, the cops were surely aware that this was being recorded. Or were they private and always available? Meanwhile, in local SF Bay area news coverage they say that Oakland is boarding up all the business because of a planned demonstration for today. Planned by who? They never say. Why protest what happened in Memphis when Oakland itself has serious with 119 murders last year with 5 already in 2023. This is part of the body cam footage? Whose body is this cam on? Pelosi Coverage is Worse For some unknown reason, the release of the Paul Pelosi getting assaulted with a hammer video was done at the same time. What was the point of delaying it forever and then rolling it out when the Memphis video was going be released with fanfare? Well, first of all the video contradicts a bunch of reporting and perhaps nobody would notice. It’s hard to say, but you are going to hear some fabulous clips collected over the reporting of this incident. Only on No Agenda, of course. Also...
