Besides celebrating Mother's Day 2023, you will hear the latest about the Ukraine War and where it is headed. Is it getting worse? Or better?

Also the lame Trump CNN “Town Hall” is getting far too much attention from the other media outlets, with MSNBC being the worst offender. There are even so-called “specials” where everyone is hand-wringing over the event. The only explanation for this could be called bread-crumb scrounging. This means that maybe the kvetching will get a few extra outraged people to tune in. There is no other reason.

California is in the news with an announced $32 billion deficit, up by $10 billion. You have to assume that means the potholes are not getting fixed anytime soon.
