Some Antique Mother's Day Cards Tomorrow's Show Adam and I are baffled by the fact that some new Trump gaffe or troll has not sidetracked the mainstream media from the Comey Russia narrative. I personally found it amusing that all week the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence led by Richard Burr (the guy who refused to look at the torture documents) were chomping at the bit to get to the bottom of the Comey firing by having Comey testify to “give his side of the story.” Well, the chomping stopped when Comey said he wasn’t interested in testifying. Once this so-called oversight committee flopped on doing its job with the torture report it became a joke and continues to be a joke. Our Intelligence oversight both began and ended after the Frank Church hearings in the mid-1970’s. The hearings started when it was revealed that the US Army Intelligence was spying on the American public. Out of the hearings came the current Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. This committee soon became the embodiment of a rubber stamp with everyone nodding in agreement on every issue. Shameful. Only your No Agenda Show will discuss these issues in context. This is because we are not subservient to corporate advertisers or underwriters. We are beholding to you and only you. But let us think of Mom tomorrow and think of the show.
