The proxy war in Ukraine, despite revelations that the infamous Ukrainian corruption might be soaking up the expenses, seems intent on continuing through 2023 with zero attempts at negotiating a peace agreement. This has turned the conflict into a testing ground for new battlefield ideas and gear, including drone warfare. To hell with the fact that the entire country is being rubble-ized. Who cares about that? “We have our pride! AND we have gear to sell.” Trudeau is an Idiot Just after our last show the House of Commons in Canada, with Trudeau and Zelenskyy in the audience, highlighted and congratulated a special guest (brought in for the occasion), a brave Ukrainian who killed Russians in WWII. Without further consideration the entire Parliament rose to its collective feet and gave the man a huge standing ovation as did Trudeau and Zelenskyy. Nobody there noticed the issue until some social media folks pointed out the obvious. The Russians were allies in WWII and the only people killing them were Nazis. Indeed this character, who was baffled by the attention, was a Nazi SS member. The next day Trudeau apologized for the mistake that the Liberal speaker of the House of Commons, Anthony Rota, made and threw him under the bus and then somehow blamed Russian propaganda for the whole thing. How Trudeau remains the Prime Minister of Canada is indelible proof that a Parliamentarian system of government is no good. Befuddled Waffen SS fighter, Yaroslav Hunka, giving thumbs up to cheering crowd. The kicker are the military brass sitting with him who couldn't figure out that killing Russians in WWII was not something to cheer. Joe Biden "On Strike!" The recent appearance at the UAW picket line of Joe Biden grabbing the bullhorn in support of the UAW strikers is a first for any President of the United States who is supposed to represent everyone not solely a group of striking workers. This is a guy who could force an end to the strike. He's the guy in charge. It reminiscent of the time when Democrat members of Congress did a sit down protest in their own assembly. It's ridiculous. Meanwhile, the writer's strike is over and soon SAG-AFTRA will have to stop striking. Has anything really changed? There is still the basic problem of finding ways to make more money without doing more work. More income is hard to come by when a “season” for a show went from 30+ episodes to 6 or maybe 13 at the most. “But I worked a whole season!” "Do these pallets make me look taller?"
