No Agenda Show 1593

Dress Code Kaput
Dear Producer,

As we head into the 16th year of the No Agenda podcast, there is an obvious assault on a class of anti-mainstream podcasters who have attracted a lot of attention. This was discussed on our last show and was predictable since the advertising mechanism is incredibly flaky and subject to pressure groups.

The No Agenda value-for-value model was employed from the beginning to keep the show independent, honest and not beholden to outside influences. This is accomplsihed only with your kind and worthy support of the show week after week. Please continue with a random donation of any amount. Click here.

Or be the Executive Producer of show 1593. This is a smart investment in your future as it is a forever credit you can use for a lifetime. It may actually become more valuable over time. Become an “EP” today. Click here for that

Tomorrow's Show

The Senate “truth-teller” Rand Paul is at it again making the Ukraine War sound like a financial fiasco that is not doing anyone any good, You will hear parts of his recent Senate rant on tomorrow's show. He makes the point that our government shutdown is tied directly to the billions being sent to Ukraine. In other words if everyone wants to keep our government going we, the Americna taxpayer, must continue to finance the Ukraine war. And we must finance it without any oversight. Yes, zero oversight to follow the money.

Fetterman Conundrum

There is something hilarious about Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman in both his goofball demeanor and his attire. He generally wears shorts and a hoodie in the US Senate chamber where the normal attire is a uninspired suit and tie. Fetterman, for all we know, doesn't own a suit or a tie.

Because this guy kept dressing like this Senate leader Chuck Schumer changed the dress code to indicate this was just fine. Anyone could wear what they wanted. Luckily nobody except Fetterman is taking Schumer up on the offer or we'd be seeing Senators wearing football jerseys. (This can still happen.) The whole thing is a fiasco and an example of appeasing the lowest common denominator.

Bob Menendez Hilarity

Another US Senator who is a bad actor is New Jersey's Bob Menendez who dodged corruption charges in 2017 and is now indicted (along with his wife) on bribery charges which included cash-lined clothing among other two-bit tricks. This, of course, draws more attention to Joe Biden and more accusations of bribery regarding China and Ukraine. Menendez says he's not quitting and figures he can beat the rap, again.

Cash stuffed in clothes, gold bars, cars. Wow.
