Somehow Matt Gaetz, found 8 weird and disgruntled Republicans plus every single Democrat and managed to oust the Speaker of the Houe, Kevin McCarthy. This was historic. What's interesting is that the Republican allies were not mega MAGA Republicans. Boebert, Jordan, MTG and the usual suspects voted against the idea. This is not emphasized enough by the MSM. Gaetz used both anti-Trumpers and contrarians to get the job done. The allies were: Andy Biggs of Arizona, Ken Buck of Colorado, Tim Burchett of Tennessee, Eli Crane of Arizona, Bob Good of Virginia, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Matt Rosendale of Montana. The Democrats, who voted as a bloc to oust McCarthy, must have been laughing up their sleeves over this fiasco that seems to stem from some deep hatred of McCarthy by Gaetz who won't take the job himself. Haiti War Coming, Fiasco Awaits It looks as if our State Department has decided to go to war in Haiti with boots on the ground. The kicker is the boots will be filled by Kenyan forces. This has been approved by the United Nations Security Council with China and Russia abstaining from the vote so they can both go outside and laugh their asses off. Before the war even starts we've pledged $100 million (thus far) US taxpayer money to pay for the Kenyan forces to go in to Haiti and kick some butt under the UN banner. It took some serious diplomatic skill to pull off this shenanigan, but something needed to be done to protect the Clinton investments on the Island. And the Oscar goes to... Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Back in November, while Sean Penn was visiting Ukraine for the Umpteeth time, he handed Zelenskyy one of his Oscars. Which is not kosher as the trophy is licensed and not something you can pass around or sell. (They'd all be for sale on eBAY). This video reemerged as the Penn documentary about Ukraine was released. It's a pathetic and shameful promotion but worth a chuckle. See the video of this here. The elements of irony are apparent. Note this is a three camera shoot with everyone mic'd up. What a scam.
