Tomorrow's Show The Republican National Convention came and went and they sure put on a show that was produced beautifully with virtual sets, great staging and a lot sentimental speakers designed to get the audience to tear up if not openly weep. It was quite the thing. Of course, if you listened to the analysis of the talking heads at CNN or MSNBC the event was terrible. Anyone who actually watched and objectively followed the event, then listened to Comcast/MSNBC, would think they are listening to an certified insane person. These negative reviews seemed like fits of jealousy and denialism. It will be hard for the Democrats to top the event, especially with the candidacy of Joe Biden still up in the air with detractors begging him to quit the race, which, as this is written, he refuses to do. The basic Keystone Kop aspect of the Democrats is somewhat laughable, at least at the moment. The party has a superior machine than the Republicans and it must always be noted that the so-called mainstream media is mostly pro-Democrat party from the ownership to the reporters to the staffers and writers. If they resign themselves to Biden, he could still win, even as a corpse. You see plenty of dead people elected in this country. How does that work? One thing we have learned through all this, if nothing else, is that the 25th Amendment simply does not work as a tool. There is no way a Vice-President will ever have the nerve to attempt to use it, nor suggest it. |
