| The Kamala Harris Fiasco The election, according to the polling, is swinging towards Trump. The more the public actually gets to witness the poor if not vapid presentations done by Kamala Harris, the less they like her. She is simply unprepared and unsuited for the pressure of the campaign.
The basic thesis of the No Agenda analysis is that when the Democrat bigwigs freaked out over the Biden performance at the Biden-Trump debate, Biden very reluctantly agreed to step down. The schemers behind the scenes were Schumer, Pelosi and the Obamas along with various proxies on TV including David Axelrod and James Carville. Once the bloodless coup was complete Biden quickly pulled a fast one and endorsed Kamala Harris before the schemers could find a stronger candidate. Biden may have been suffering from dementia but he still had the political chops to pull a fast one on the party.
He had worked with Kamala long enough to know that she was arrogant, entitled and lazy. The nature of the Democrats and their idealistic rambling concerning identity politics, women and persons of color painted them in a corner. They had to accept Kamala and get to work promoting her. Biden's move was genius, sink the whole party if he was not the candidate. If she loses he can claim he was the only one to beat Trump and could have done it again. If she wins he can claim it was his idea. And there was nothing anyone could do without letting it be known that the Democratic Party ideals were a sham. She did not help matters by choosing doofus fibber and self professed “knucklehead” Tim Walz for VP. Coming from the most rock solid Democrat-voting state in the nation surpassing even the strongholds in the NE, what was the logic of picking him? It has still never been explained. There is no strategy to this choice. There is a belief that the real powers behind the administrative state are working towards getting Trump in for a reset and to get the economy stabilized. He cannot run for reelection and the Democrat bench including governors Shapiro and Newsom can emerge along with a few others.
They would all be forgotten toast if they had to wait until 2032. The Democrats can cause enough of a ruckus during the new Trump administration to get the public to vote their way in 2028. The last time Trump was elected there were immediate demonstrations, riots and calls for his impeachment before he even took office. The media was complicit. This playbook worked as the public ended up choosing a senile Joe Biden who campaigned in his basement for the whole 2020 election. It should work again.
Except for a fringe of daffy dingbats like the women on TV shows like “The View,” or Drew Barrymore, nobody wants to see a Harris Presidency, this includes many if not most Democrats. |
