I get asked ALL THE TIME, how to fix a problem opening, printing, signing a document, etc, and my response it always "what program are you using to do this?".
Of course I try all the new ad-based and 'free-ware' stuff and only report on the ones that are worthy.
Yes, I use and have installed on all computers I deal with, Adobe Acrobat Reader. I still will, however that certainly does not mean another pdf program can be the default choice for the computer to use.
PDF24 claims to be FREE PDF Solutions, which they are. A small ad bug within the dashboard but quite user friendly, whereas it is does not jump out at you, nor are you forced to click on it.
So when you are confronted with a real issue, which in my opinion is any program that forces you to pay or walk away.. just walk away!
It is safe to say that NOTHING is free on the INTERNET.. your time is worth something isn't it? Having to be forced to search for the truth when it comes to the use and care of 'free-ware' and 'trial-ware' software.
This is exactly what I am here for.. to hopefully point you in the right direction when it comes to the use of supposed free software and compare it to that for which can cost you a pretty penny!
You can always ask! Just like you can always donate to those that provide you with free advice and software that you will find useful and even time saving!
