No Agenda Producers Update
Dear Producers, No Agenda had a poor showing insofar as support for show 585 was concerned. Very few new contributors. Please help the Sunday Show number 586 with a contribution of any amount by clicking here. The smallest amount helps . Many of you realize that today puts you smack in the middle of the next iteration of the 6 week cycle. Has anything triggered it already? This would include the odd Indianapolis event – the location of which was previously predicted. Or was it the more interesting Mall shooting that brought out plenty of SWAT folks and mimics the Kenya shootings, kind of. This is discussed in detail on the Sunday Show. Also up for discussion is the new court case giving the FCC and the ISP's even more power than they already have. In fact it appears as if they are heading in the direction of regulating the Internet, as No Agenda has long since predicted. You should not miss the Sunday show. There are a lot of great topics lined up. Help contribute to the success of No Agenda with a contribution today. Click here. You co-host John C. Dvorak PS Have you ever been reminded to visit the support page here. Did you do it? PPS Next week's regular newsletter will have the Whitepaper on Gay Rights in Russia as well as the stew recipe. |

How to Stop Web Sites from Potentially Listening to Your Microphone
Although this is pretty much the same as Facebook auto opting you in on certain security issues, it only means turning the feature off all together. Then, if/when you actually need to use it, you will get notice that it is currently disabled and can then it on. It's a pain, yes, but it beats the alternative of take over the camera and physically unplugging the sound devices.

How to Stop Web Sites from Potentially Listening to Your Microphone
// Lifehacker
Earlier this week, web developer Tal Ater warned of a Chrome exploit that would allow an unscrupulous website to listen in to your computer's microphone while you speak. Google dismissed the issue, but if you're wondering what the whole thing means for you, here's what you can do to protect yourself.

Monsanto Is Going Organic in a Quest for the Perfect Veggie
I think the word organic has a different meaning for a company like Monsanto!

Monsanto Is Going Organic in a Quest for the Perfect Veggie
// Wired Top Stories
Monsanto's new veggies are sweeter, crunchier, and more nutritious—with none of the "Frankenfoods" ick factor. Nicholas Cope In a windowless basement room decorated with photographs of farmers clutching freshly harvested vegetables, three polo-shirt-and-slacks-clad Monsanto executives, all men, wait for a special lunch. A server arrives and sets in front of each a caprese-like ...

No Agenda Saturday Memo
Dear Producers, Since Adam covered the NSA hearings on the last show, many of you have listened to or heard about the Obama speech outlining certain changes that may or may not be done regarding the wholesale surveillance of the American public by the NSA. If any of you are old enough, you have to laugh at the entire idea of this speech. In the 1960’s, for example, this sort of wholesale untargeted spying would be unheard of. A speech discussing it would be ludicrous. The situation would not have gotten so out of control in the first place. You can imagine what a WWII veteran would think of this agency in the 1960's. Todayeveryone is scared to death by all the fear mongering thrust upon the American public mostly by the politicians and the media. Your No Agenda Show will have none of it. Government documents are read and double-checked for you. Thus you can understand what is really going on. News items that coincidentally and suddenly crop up all over the country all at the same time are tracked down to discover the source. No other show does this like No Agenda. Please help us continue this effort with a generous contribution to the production of this Sunday’s show by clicking here. If you have never contributed before, do it now. And, note, the show loses a lot of subscribers through all sorts of attrition and each of you who have a subscription need to check it once in a while to make sure it is still working. Newcomers, you may want to subscribe by clicking here or here. Another groundbreaking show awaits. Your co-host, John C. Dvorak PS. Here is a link to the support page. Please visit it often.
