I personally never believed the jet was downed in the Indian Ocean. When reports that the Chinese had heard the pings and then others heard them too, only to be heard at the wrong frequency.. it was too obvious it was a rouse to move the search away from the real location. Not that this new report suggests this is in fact that aircraft, but the knowledge that we are now getting this report was released some time before the batteries would have died on the blackbox makes you only that much more suspicious as to why they might be hiding something. The fact that NO DEBRIS has been found is also very suspicious to me and I continue to believe this aircraft is intact, landed some place deserted from the searchers...
