He did disinvite the Super Bowl winners, the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House as only a few players wanted to go. This is a new trend and probably a good one. These meetups were just an extension of the celebrity-obsessed news media. Probably what got the most attention was Trump saying, on Twitter, he could pardon himself if he wanted to, but he hasn’t done anything wrong. You just have to think that this was nothing more than trolling because it got a slew of reporters all jacked up as expected. It’s as if the press corps are just excitable. It’s pathetic. On another screwball note, and passing under the radar is this story which discusses Army General Robert Abrams endorsing the court-martial decision to giveapparent turncoat Bowe Bergdahl no prison time.  This actually comes close to confirming a No Agenda thesis that this whole event was staged and part of some CIA/DIA intelligence scheme. It had all the earmarks of a planned operation. Confirmation will come when his dishonorable discharge is reversed. And, of course, we’ll never know what this was really all about for decades. We just know that we are on the right track. If Trump does not make a serious fuss (and he hasn’t) about this on Twitter that would be confirmation too. A note from John June is Cataract Awareness Month. It’s a coincidence that this Friday I go in for eye surgery to get my left lens replaced with a plastic lens. I can assure you this is not to celebrate Cataract Awareness Month. Wish me luck. I joked with Adam that I should exploit this situation with a special donation to the show, but even I have limits.
