Dear Producer,

Tomorrow the show will be live from the EU and California at 10 AM PDT. Tune in early if you want to hear the show live. Adam will have some insightful BOTG reports.

Or get some mileage with your donation by becoming an Executive Producer. This is a lifetime credit for your bio (think of your future) or bragging rights at a meet-up, Click here for that.

Robot Cars in San Francisco

Two companies, Waymo and Cruise have been given the go-ahead to run little robo-taxis in San Francisco and now there are dozens of these autonomous robo-cars all over the place creating some havoc and some humor.

First of all, people are drinking in these cars. Passengers are not allowed to do in California. While people are getting banned when caught by the cameras you can be certain that drunken passengers will be puking like crazy in these vehicles and many will be picking up passengers with vomit all over the seats. It's not a pretty idea.

The latest thing with the passengers is that exhibitionist couples are having sex in the cars. This has become a “thing to do” in San Francisco. See story here.

The cars themselves are still being programmed for weird and often hazardous conditions since the software cannot fathom much out of the ordinary, especially when fire trucks and emergencies are concerned. The cars have freaked out and stopped dead in major intersections. One car recently decided to drive into freshly laid cement where it got stuck. Hilarity ensued.

Ooops!
Trump Indictment, Rinse, Repeat

The latest Trump indictments in Georgia included 18 other people including Rudy Giuliani alleging a violation of the RICO Act. What is weird is that nobody in the media has even mentioned the ludicrous irony of Rudy Giuliani, a famous prosecutor who used the RICO act to go after mobsters is now charged as a criminal under the same statute. Someone is giggling about that. This indictment is very sketchy in a lot of ways.

And, of course, there are two distinct points of view regarding these charges (just like the others). The right wingers bring out their law experts who say these are flimsy charges that are just designed to waste time and money during an election campaign. The left wing TV hosts bring out their lawyers who all say these are creative unassailable well-designed charges and Trump's goose is cooked.

We have not seen any trials yet, but if Trump wins any or all the cases it will be claimed that he got off because of a clever technicality or some such analysis. Trump is never actually “not guilty.” It never ends with these haters
