All this was overshadowed by the police booking of Donald Trump in Georgia and the Trump mugshot which almost looks like a studio photo compared to some mugshots you normally see. Where is the height indicator in the back? Why wasn't he holding a number of some sort? It looked like a studio shot with high-end lighting. None of the pics of the others were nearly as dramatic. The mugshot on a t-shirt went into immediate production by the Trump camp. The Life and Death of Yevgeny Prigozhin The head of the Wagner group and many of his top associates died in a fiery plane crash this week. The speculation surrounding the incident is completely off the rails. None of this is helped by the fact that he supposedly faked his death in 2019 and he definitely has enough resources to do it again to find himself in Argentina or some remote tropical island. So nobody knows for sure if he was really on the plane. In fact, the details of the mishap are not even clear.  Was he shot down or blown up by an on board bomb? Rank speculation is all there is, thus far, until the BS appears and then we will never know anything, Ron DeSantis and the Smile The half-hearted lame smile used by DeSantis during the debate and turned into a meme drawing attention to it (story and example here) is going set back his campaign as today's politicians need to flash a big phony smile on cue. Trump can do it, Biden can do it, and Vivek Ramaswamy has a huge smile. Nikki Haley has a big smile. Everyone does except DeSantis who should not try, just give up on the idea and look serious. Otherwise he looks awkward and strained and phony. This is beginning to feel like a Howard Dean moment. Nikki was another one acting robotic.
