This is very unfortunate that people that are very well known in the tech community write posts like this, especially when it is only to promote the inevitable "pay more for the service". Yeah great, the ipad app is wonderful and so it should be as it has been in the works for years. Pretty much ever since the first ipad came out there were questions and discussions on when Office would climb on board the ipad train.. many years later that happens, but only after Microsoft releases their Office 365 which is essentially a cloud based office, something that Google has already had working for years. But that isn't the best part about this ipad app that is so awesome.. the best part is you already have to have a paid subscription with Office 365 to take full advantage of using the app. Thanks Microsoft but I'll stick with Google which doesn't tease for years and years only to bring an app out that will allow you to use it on a device that you truly wish they would not--since you want them to buy a surface that comes with office already built in.. nice marketing strategy!
