You gotta love marketing and that is all this is. After all, this is no different than what Symantec does when you install their product. Not only do they take control of the windows updates but they also turn off the windows defender which is part of Microsoft's built in security. The difference here is that it is Samsung and it is happening at a time when we now know that Windows 10 will not allow you to choose to disable automatic updates unless you have the top of the line edition. In any case this sort of word play is nothing new and should be of no concern to those wondering about their devices.
