United Airlines Customers Outraged After Being Put Up in Military Barracks - NBCNews.com

It is reporting like this that truly gets me going... with terms like "treated inhumanely" when it is quite clear the passengers were provided clean beds and I am sure, warm meals, not to mention they are now getting a full refund on their trip to London.. yes sure, they arrived a few days late, but getting a free trip isn't a bad deal is it?  Sure the airline might get fined for "failure to communicate" but considering what BS I have dealt with in the past from airlines having to attempt to place people in hotel rooms or getting re-routed, this is pretty pathetic. What the hell would you have them do, when a maintenance issue causes an 'emergency landing' you should be glad you landed safely in the first place. Do I have to mention you got a free trip to London?
