BB17 update-this crappy season--when will it end?

hahahaha.. oh this is so great, reading what other feeders are "finally" saying. As a feeder from season 1 and also a 28 year veteran of TV production, I have stated on numerous occasions that this has got to be the worst season ever... for starters, because these HG are so dumb... to not catch on to Vanessa's plans until the very end and then do nothing about it is so crazy. To realize in week 2 that Liz had a twin (DaVonne) and then go and remove the player that realized this and then decide bringing another player in to the game would 'help you get further' is crazy. The idea is to be the last one in the game so adding more people isn't going to help anyone's game. But as much as it is so easy to blame stupid HG, you have to place most of the blame on production... casting for starters.. you know when they are bringing people from pintrest on to the show, as well as modelling agencies, instead of true live feeder-life-long BB gamers and no, I don't mean the Steve types.. he has as much personality as a wet sponge with absolutely no social game. At least Jason was social and boy did he know the game--yes I'm sure Steve knows the game too but not how to play it. What seems to be the fan fav througout the game was JMac.. yes his D/R sessions have been great to watch but he hasn't been. He only comes to life when absolutely necessary, to save himself after being placed OTB as a pawn on numerous times. Yes, he sees how stupid these other HG are and that is probably why he is still in the game. When he did get voted out, it was a quick trip back in, only because he was the only guy jury member in a physical comp to get back in. So is it rigged? Of course it is--it's all about the numbers (ratings). If you have been a feeder for years, you will quickly notice things like how the house is decided by Sunday, who is going home on Thursday, yet by Tuesday night it seems the house has flipped.. why is this? It's the D/R sessions that have them questioning the HG in a way that places ideas in their heads. Possible outcomes, should "player x" go home instead of "player y".. this forces the drama up until Wednesday night.Don't get me started on the competitions (too late, you already did). There hasn't been a "new" competition for a few seasons. True this is the 17th season but it really shouldn't be that difficult to come up with some new ideas. Since BB Canada uses the same casting director, the cast hasn't been a problem, but the competitions have been completely different and this is because they have utilized their sponsors within the competitions as well--allowing more creativity. It is season 17 and this show is a network series icon now--there is money in the budget yet you don't see it.. (the memory wall--knowing there was a twin twist this season, they didn't plan on the possibility of the additional house guest? So the first HG sent packing loses their spot on the wall? WTF!) These are just a few of my complaints.. as you can see I could go on and on.. I'm just glad this crap is almost over.. this is the first year I cancelled my feeds subscription before the end of the season, even though it is still valid until the 25th (isn't that when it is over anyway?) I have checked in twice a day since my cancellation and just get so frustrated watching stupid people. As one person commented, they can't even watch the network show anymore becuase they get so upset at how dumb they are that this added stress in their own lives is not worth it. I must agree and after watching Wednesday's show (I have not even watched the eviction episode of Thursday yet), it was quite clear this season is a complete bust. To think keeping Liz over Julia was a smart move--for who? Austin, yes, but for the others that actually did have the power to vote? No. IMHO this could be JMac's bad play of the game as it could be Liz that takes him out if she doesn't go this week. Julia was by far the weakest player remaining in the house so keep her.. if nothing else you have an easy win over her but not Liz because Liz has won so many HOH's (JMac how many HOH's have you won?) For Vanessa, a professional gamer, it is all about the game itself.. the money is just a bonus for her as she doesn't need it.. of course that is a crazy statement, everyone needs money but just how much? When they start electing to vote someone out just based on whether they need the money or not is dumb too, but in the case of casting someone like this--oh thats right, it's about the numbers...Season 18 will likely be a season of returning HG--quite possibly those that 'almost won' which could be good, but odds are, if they don't start thinking up some new competitions and stop trying so hard to be a dating show, it is going to continue to suck. I'm still a fan of the "concept" of the show and don't get me wrong, I"m totally looking forward to BB Canada--3 seasons so far and I love it. 17 seasons of BB US and I have troubles remembering the good seasons..maybe I'm just getting too old for this stuff.. and on that note--why not have half the house with some in their 30's at least? This would have at least brought the maturity level of the game up a few notches. I'm not saying you have to have your token grandmother/father in the house--last year on BBCan they brought in a blonde bombshell that was in her 40's when the rest were in their mid 20's .. one person, twice their age--guess who went home first?! But if you have a house that has half of them in their 30's, at least you have some variety. Just a thought.. but since when does BB production ever really listen to its feeders? Ok, I"m done--rant is over for the season--I'm out--drop the mic!
