Windows XP die-hards can slash attack risk by dumping IE

Umm, yeah this is pretty much the case since IE 6 for those in the know!  Chrome has admitted they would provide a safe internet surfing structure for Windows XP users for at least another year but the real problem is in the operating system security itself. Although you may not be using the Internet Explorer web browser on an XP machine, the internal path to the internet utilizes IE software regardless of your browser therefore it still presents a security risk and now that Microsoft has stopped any further patches for XP that is where the real problem is. Therefore if you are reading articles like the one below thinking you are actually safe to continue using XP, think again!
