Considering Microsoft's most recent marketing hype over chromebook it would seem rather strange but interesting that they should stop the retail sales of Windows 7. On the other hand I personally see this as a good thing as they continue to push those to windows 8. Also, the fact that Windows XP support is (finally) coming to the end of life, it would seem to make perfect sense that they do this.
