If you can wait, you shouldn't buy a Google Chromebook right now

I'm really not sure why those that report about Chromebooks continue to say how they are so expensive and to 'wait' when there are so many great ones available. The Dell unit at just over $600 is expensive? Really? This is typically what you would pay for any windows laptop and then you have to deal with it being plagued with malware/spyware, etc.  Google has done away with the most expensive (and best) Chromebook Pixel for now and if you did want one of these you would be spending over $1000 yet this unit blows away even the best macbook pro in my opinion.  Why is it that those people reporting on Chromebooks can't see the big picture and always find something wrong with these yet in comparison to any macbook you can do even more.  I have personally been using my Chromebook Pixel for over a year and now that it has the ability to use android apps it truly blows away every other Apple or Microsoft product.
