On tomorrow’s show we discuss the uneventful Trump inauguration as well as the numerous women of color events that took place today. These are the most adamant Clinton supporters and we can expect this for years to come.

There were two things I was told to expect that did not happen. The first was a terror attack as promoted by CNN and other news outlets. The second was immediate impeachment of Trump as promoted by CNN and MSNBC.
Instead we saw pomp and ceremony and the same militaristic show. It particularly amused me when I see all the military pageantry at this event, most sporting events, and elsewhere promoted by both parties. Then Trump suggested that during one of many celebratory parades we should consider having tanks and missile launchers in those same parades, he is blasted for being crazy.

To promote the copycat meme that erupted after Melania Trump’s speech to the Republican convention we have this gem in the WAPO.

In that article Trump is accused of “plagiarizing” the inauguration cake (as if he actually baked it).

First of all let’s begin with the fact that this is an ugly cake. Then let’s look at the definition of plagiarism.
Definition of plagiarize plagiarized; plagiarizing
  1. transitive verb
  2. :  to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own :  use (another's production) without crediting the source
  3. intransitive verb
  4. :  to commit literary theft :  present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source
The key here is the word “literary.” Plagiarize does not apply to cakes. That would be called a copy or a knock off. The fashion industry steals designs all the time and they are always referred to as knock-offs not plagiarized dresses.
The word plagiarize is used because it sounds bad and illegal. It’s the WAPO using aloaded word to slant the story. In this case it’s an eye-roller and constitutes fake news. But it will be played by the usual suspects (CNN, HLN, MSNBC, Washington Post, NYT, New York Daily News) to smear Trump. This kind of overt attack should be never-ending for the next few years.
No Agenda will continue to analyze and deconstruct all that the media does to push the neocon agenda and more wars. I’d personally like to see a war on potholes

Support No Agenda so we can continue to help you make sense of things and not be constantly surprised and stunned by current events. You have seen these people around you. Hilarious Pics
One of the No Agenda producers discovered this cache of Trump pics photoshopped on to the queen of England. The joke assertion is that the USA wants to take over the UK. You'll start to see these floating around. Here are the funniest.
