This is complete CRAP--HUD is NOT bad for driver safety.. this technology has been around for decades in jet aircraft and is only getting more sohpisticatingly better. What should be discussed is how cigaret smoking in a car is still legal. The fact that you are distracted and driving with one hand, etc-but you will never see this become a law due to the tobacco industry pull.
