BB17-USA Update for Saturday evening

For the past 30 minutes or so, as of 11pm Saturday night, the people in the HOH room including Shelli, Clay (of course), Vanessa and most recently, Austin, are all contemplating the replacement nomination to be Audrey (finally).. the laughable thing here is they are trying to make sure they are all in favor of doing this. Shelli has made it clear that she doesn't want to be the one that is to "blame" for doing this. What is stupid about this is the entire house has wanted Audrey out since week 2 so placing her on the block is a good thing and the rest of the house will be more than happy. Jason of course, is making a claim that even if Audrey is up against him, that he would go  home over Audrey (which we know is not true--the vote would most likely be unanimous for Audrey to go home).  Steve now just entered the HOH room and explains a recent conversation in the living room whereas Meg was a possible replacement. Steve's name was thrown around but the most crazy thing is Jackie's name is going up.  What are these people thinking? Jackie is not a threat to win anything and why would you even bother with her.. at this point, I have never trusted Vanessa but do believe she will use the Veto which she won, but on Johnny Mac or on Jason.. my guess is Johnny Mac and that way if for some reason Shelli fails to do what is right, by placing Audrey on the block (finally) then Jason will go home.. that is their logic behind things.  

As the power of Veto comp was the bomb making one which debuted last year and was pretty funny, I must say, but it shows once again CBS's/BB lack of imagination and is once again sticking to "what works". I can only hope the numbers are way down this season, to the point that the show is in threat of returning next year!  I'm sure I wouldn't miss it, if they are going to produce crap like they are this year.  Initially I thought this cast may be okay and it may be a good season, as it did start off with a bang, but that was only because of Audrey playing far too hard, followed by Jeff playing far too hard.

One other issue that is driving me crazy is how these HG's are stuck on the fact that there is an "America's Player".. wtf!  I mean it is BB's own fault for not having enough change each season that these HG"s have no choice but to figure there is an America's Player or a saboteur when the time comes.. pretty sad I must say.. why not play the game for the fact that until you know there is an America's player, don't ASSUME!

To this point, I am ranking this season as one of the worst.. so far, as these HG's have what I believe, is a lot of talent and brains, yet so far they have decided to not use any of them.  If Audrey doesn't go up on the block as a replacement nomination for either Johnny Mac or Jason then what I have been stating all along will be quite correct.. this season sucks!  If Audrey does go up on the block, which would be her certain demise, then we might still be able to save the rest of the season.
