No Agenda Thursday Show
Alienating the Arts from the Government
Looking at today’s Paypal donations list, it’s very low, especially for a Thursday. Please consider contributing to the show with something. Everything helps. Click here.
And we continue the September promotion of sustaining contributions(subscriptions). Everyone should not only have a subscription, but should check to make sure it still works.
Important Sustaining Subscriptions
The favorite is the lucky $33.33 a month. Click here for that. It has superseded the once popular $11.11 month. More lucky numbers click here. For 2017 we have the $20.17 subscription. Click here. Most recently the show offered the $4 a week or 75-cents an hour subscription which has become very popular. Click here for that. There is also the $50 a month Knighthood layaway for 20 months. Click here for that.
And since today is a little thin insofar as PayPal numbers are concerned. Please step up and add a random one-time donation of any amount. It will help a lot. Use this do-it yourself open donation which is always welcome.
Tomorrow’s show includes a few tidbits from the entertainment sector including a look at the TV Emmy Award show, which was dreadful, and John’s reluctant look at the Miss America pageant and the government propaganda that goes with it.
You will also hear about Trump’s scripted speech to the UN as well as fallout from General Kelly’s viral photo where he supposedly is showing disapproval.
Maybe Kelly just has a headache or is bored?? Since the speech was scripted none of it should be too surprising to this apparent drama queen.
Today’s newsletter highlights the promised Russian bought Facebook adswhich, according to the pundit-class, somehow swayed the election in favor of Trump.
There is another cache of variants, all supposedly representing Texas, but really a Russian front here. In this group at least two of these Instagram so-called “memes” seem to be ads for Whataburger, the San Antonio-based hamburger chain.
Maybe we are witnessing a new form of advertising and invite producers to do the “memes” for No Agenda. Why not?
Great show tomorrow. If you have not supported the show in the last few months, please do so now. Click here.
