No Agenda-The Saturday Memo
Jerry Pournelle RIP (1933-2017) This is kind of a sad weekend for me as my colleague and friend Jerry Pournelle passed away yesterday. I had just had dinner with him a few weeks ago and this was unexpected. Jerry was one of the first computer columnists and a pioneer in reviewing equipment. He loved the scene although he was well-established as a novelist and didn’t need the work. He will genuinely be missed.

Tomorrow’s show will obviously discuss the storm called Irma which now appears to be hitting the west coast of Florida perhaps saving the Horowitz Tiki hut.
Also, you will hear a further discussion of the theory that there has been a soft coup in the USA and Military Intelligence has taken over the place. I guess this means that they’ve replaced the CIA who (we have a clip of Ron Paul saying this) took over the government in the 1960’s.
There is a lot of fun to be had with this thesis and it may explain why the newspaper and TV outlets that have been cozy with the CIA for decades are going after Trump with such intensity. This is the kind of show material you will not get anywhere else, that’s for sure. And it explains a lot.
