Keeping Your Laptop Plugged in All the Time Will Kill Its Battery Faster

This is the age old question.. should you or shouldn't you keep your laptop plugged in?  Unfortunately in this report they say you shouldn't but in all honesty it really shouldn't matter because of the new tech in all laptops that monitor the battery power. I am a firm believer in simply using your computer. Whether that means leaving it unplugged while you are sitting at your desk until you get the battery low indicator, which is never a bad thing to do once in a while to give the battery a full cycle charge/discharge. The bottom line should be to simply use the computer and not worry whether or not your computer battery is plugged in or not.  Leaving it plugged in should mean it is 100% charged for when you want to use it in the portable mode. If you find your computer is not getting a full charge then do the battery cycle but what you read below is NOT going to "kill your battery faster' leaving it plugged in!
