This is a case of a little too much paranoia and a little more education required with regards to how to use the internet and the programs/apps available. Since it appears Facebook is not going away any time soon, and the fact that women seem to really utilize this more than men, a little education on what to post and the security settings are important here. Simply saying you are not going to introduce your children to the internet via photos or for that matter, themselves using the internet at a young age is simply wrong. There is a lot of technology that the younger generation can learn and learn much quicker so along with that learning should be the education of security and what to be aware of when doing things like posting information online.
